Bomet KMTC Woman Who Mistakenly Receives KSh 32K on M-Pesa From Stranger, Reverses Money To Owner

In Bomet town, a young nursing student named Rehema Anyango found herself facing a moral dilemma one ordinary January day.

After attending a Christian Union gathering where she experienced a spiritual moment, Anyango switched on her phone to find an unexpected deposit of KSh 32,000.
Excited yet cautious, she couldn't shake off the concern upon seeing the unfamiliar sender's details.

Instead of succumbing to the temptation of keeping the money, Anyango chose the path of integrity without hesitation.

She immediately purchased KSh 10 worth of airtime in an attempt to contact the sender, only to discover that the number was switched off.

Undeterred, she remained steadfast in her commitment to honesty.

Shortly thereafter, Safaricom, the telecommunications company, reached out to Anyango, clarifying the mistaken transaction.

Without a moment's hesitation, she authorized the return of the funds, emphasizing her belief that using money not rightfully hers was not an option.

Despite being sponsored by well-wishers, Anyango's principles remained unshaken, as she trusted in God's provision for her needs.
